Project Overview

Rehabilitating ageing structures and protecting our environment is something we're proud to be part of.

Did you know that cement production generates around 2.2 billion tonnes of CO2, equivalent to 8% of the global total? To be able to remediate and reinstate ageing concrete assets and save them from being demolished and rebuilt is a great value that were proud to be able to offer our clients.

NCS were engaged to undertake remedial works inclusive of spalling repairs, full crack repairs and injection works, across nine bridges in Victoria. These works also included access and traffic management requirements. Our wide range of capabilities coupled with our Best Practice Management Systems, ensured that we were able to undertake the works efficiently, safely and to the highest of standards.

The Asset Owner had developed a small bridges replacement program prior to the start of the works. However, NCS were the first contractor to provide a remedial solution allowing the Asset Owner to invest in the rehabilitation rather than the replacement of their bridges.

It’s great to be able to provide solutions for our Client’s which not only benefit the concrete structures, but the environment around us.
